Digging History
Hello Folks! Have you ever dug up a bead, string, arrowhead, or feather before? Well, we have! Today, our class went to the Transcona Museum. While there, we listened to how oral stories can tell us about the past, and help us predict the future. Next, we used a strainer, a dust pan, a paint brush and tin foil bowls to separate the artifacts from the sand. Learning by doing hands on activities is fun! Here are some pictures and videos from the day!

Arctic Adventure at Fort Whyte Alive!
We recently went to Fort Whyte Alive and took part in their wonderful Due North: The Changing Arctic program. We had an awesome time! Katrina and the volunteers who lead the activities did a fantastic job teaching us about how the Arctic landscape and ecosystem are changing. We also learned about the many ways that we can help slow climate change. We'll be sure to share our learning with you soon! In the meantime, please enjoy some photos from the day!
Thank you to L. Levene Law & Dr. R. Gall Medical Group and to Radisson's AAA Grant committee for your generous financial support!
